Fashion giant Arcadia’s struggle to secure its future is another reminder that in today’s hard-fought environment, retailers must battle more than ever to remain relevant.

As Arcadia pursues a CVA, it is the latest retailer to suffer in a shifting retail landscape. But while costs and competition may be bearing down relentlessly on retailers, the best are able not just to survive but thrive by ensuring they stay relevant to changing shoppers and a changing world.
