Primark to reopen all 153 English stores on Monday

Primark Westfield 6

High street giant Primark has confirmed it will reopen all 153 of its stores in England on Monday with “rigorous health and safety measures” in place.

Primark said it would be putting in place “strict social distancing protocols”, providing personal protective equipment for employees and customers, and increase in-store cleaning.

The retailer confirmed Retail Week’s report that it would not be marking the reopening of stores with any sales or special offers.

Customer numbers in-store will be limited, store layouts have been redesigned and the queuing systems reconfigured, and all fitting rooms, customer toilets, cafés and beauty concessions have been temporarily closed.
