Footwear retailer Schuh has poached Superdry executive Justin Lodge to be its new chief digital officer, as well as naming Stephanie Legg as chief marketing officer, effective immediately.
Schuh said today that the new appointments are a “pivotal” part of its ambition to be an “unrivalled destination for socially conscious students, Gen Z and the next Generation Alpha”.
An ominchannel specialist, Lodge joins from embattled fashion retailer Superdry where he had been chief marketing officer since September 2020.
He was also the former international director at Boohoo where he took the lead on expanding the Boohoo Group brand into international markets.
Meanwhile, Legg joins with 20 years’ experience in distributed commerce and multi-channel consumer marketing in the fashion and retail industries.
Formerly global head of marketing at Arcadia, Legg has also held senior positions at digital platforms including Threads Styling, Laybuy and Collagerie.
The pair will join Schuh’s existing five-person leadership team, which includes president Colin Temple.
Temple said: “It is more important than ever that we make our customer touchpoints as seamless and inspiring as possible, which can be demanding in this ever-changing marketplace.
“I am delighted to have two new leaders bringing a wealth of experience that will continue to deliver growth for Schuh.”
