Ted Baker is set to sell off its Ugly Brown Building headquarters in north London in a bid to raise funds following its accountancy crisis.
The struggling fashion retailer is in talks with British Airways’ pension scheme to sell off a stake in the infamous building, according to Sky News.
If finalised, the sale is expected to raise millions of pounds for Ted Baker as it continues to struggle with a host of profit warnings and a recently discovered £58m accountancy black hole.
Ted Baker owns the Ugly Brown Building and the building next door is already owned by the British Airways pension scheme.
However, a source told Sky News the sale of a stake in the building could still fall apart.
