Ted Baker has snapped up Feelunique’s chief marketing officer Jennifer Roebuck for the newly created role of chief customer officer.
Roebuck, who has served as a non-executive director for the struggling fashion business, will move on to the executive team as a result of her new appointment.
Roebuck joined Feelunique in April 2018 and has previously held marketing roles at French Connection and Warehouse, as well as working for Arcadia on a consultancy basis.
She will step down from her non-executive position on Ted Baker’s board in April to join the company’s leadership team full time.
Ted Baker is in the process of finding a successor for its chief executive Lindsay Page and chair David Bernstein, both of whom resigned abruptly last month shortly after the business issued its third profit warning in one year.
The fashion retailer said the search for these appointments is “progressing well” and that “the composition of the board will be something for the new chair to review, once appointed”.
Acting chair Sharon Baylay said: “We are delighted that Jennifer is joining the executive leadership team. Her background in digital transformation and brand marketing, particularly in the lifestyle and clothing sector, will be of huge benefit to the leadership team, as they look to position the business for future success.”
Roebuck added: “I’m tremendously pleased to be taking up the role of chief customer officer. My time on the board has strengthened my view that Ted is a great brand and business, and I look forward to contributing to its future success.”
