TM Lewin has hired former Debenhams executive John Scott as its new international director, Retail Week can reveal.
Scott left the department store business in July after 13 years, the last two of which he spent as director of international business development.
In that role, Scott led Debenhams’ multichannel development across more than 30 countries.
Scott previously held the senior international business manager and head of international business development roles in his stint with the department store chain, and is currently on the advisory board of the International Council of Shopping Centres.
TM Lewin boss Geoff Quinn said: “This is a significant appointment and a reflection of our international growth aspirations.
“John brings with him extensive international retail knowledge and experience and is a welcome addition to our operating board.”
