It seems that Sir Philip Green’s troubles are far from over, with the news that Topshop trading director James Mooney is exiting the business.

As Retail Week revealed today, Mooney is the latest departure from Green’s high street empire.

He follows Topshop boss Mary Homer and Evans boss Fiona Ross out the door.

Today isn’t a good day for Green, as it’s also the one-year anniversary of BHS entering administration, an event which culminated in him paying £363m into the failed department store chain’s pension black hole.

Also today, Carpetright sales have risen despite tough market conditions, Clarks has cuts roles at its Somerset headquarters and Arcadia has launched its first Outfit on the high street in a former BHS.
