Two of fashion giant Inditex’s fashion brands are opening their debut stores in Glasgow this year.
Pull & Bear and Bershka are opening their doors in Glasgow, Scotland, for the first time this year at Silverburn shopping centre.
It is understood that the new Bershka store will take over the current Zara space at the shopping destination as Zara relocates to a “much larger store” in the former Debenhams unit.
Pull & Bear will open in the former Topshop premises, located between fellow fashion brands Mango and River Island.
The news of both openings at Silverburn follows a “record” year for the shopping centre which recorded a total of 15.2 million visitors in 2024.
The retail and leisure destination said today that it’s also gearing up to welcome the likes of H Beauty, Hotel Chocolat and Black Sheep Coffee to the centre.
Silverburn general manager David Pierotti said: “This double announcement gives an early flavour of what is to come this year at Silverburn and highlights how hard we are working to enhance our fashion offer.
“We’re proud to be the first West of Scotland location for both stores, solidifying Silverburn as Glasgow’s leading retail and leisure destination offering a best-in-class experience and bringing world-renowned brands to our guests. We are looking forward to what is set to be a very busy year.”
The news comes after Inditex reported soaring profits and sales last year as well as a 9% jump in sales during the 6 weeks to December 9, 2024, ahead of the peak Christmas trading period.
Inditex said its priorities moving forward are to “continually improve on the fashion proposition, to enhance the customer experience, increase our focus on sustainability and to preserve the talent and commitment of our people”.
