Warehouse has launched an online content platform called ‘Tales of the City’ as it debuts its first footwear collection.
The weekly online magazine targets the “modern urban woman” and will cover style, work, play and relationships. The content, found on www.warehouse.co.uk/talesofthecity, will be produced in-house and by guest bloggers giving their vantage point on city life.
It will extend beyond fashion into culture and entertainment and will be a place to find the latest articles and news from Warehouse.
Warehouse will also publish a biannual print magazine which will be available in-store and with online purchases. An insert in Grazia magazine is planned for the first edition.
Warehouse brand director Paula Stewart said: “Fashion is everywhere but it’s so easy to be overwhelmed with choice. We want to offer a curated edit of trends and give the Warehouse woman confidence to develop her own sense of style - to wear fashion in a way that’s right for her.”
Meanwhile, the fashion retailer is making its first foray into footwear by launching a capsule collection for autumn 2014.
