Retail Navigator Analysis
Fat Face (Financials)
Following its acquisition by Next in October 2023, Fat Face Limited shortened its accounting period to 35 weeks so that it aligned with Next’s reporting period. Therefore, Retail Navigator has not provided year-on-year sales comparisons for FY2023. Fat Face delivered sales of £180.4m for the 35 weeks ended 27 January 2024 (FY2023), which the retailer said was a decline compared to sales of £195.5m for the comparative 35 weeks in the previous year. It said that “despite the external economic headwinds, the business has had a stable period”.
