Credit Suisse, Citi and Singer Capital markets have taken the top retail brokerage spots in this year’s bellwether Extel rankings.
They claimed the number one positions in European food, non-food and UK small cap retail respectively. JP Morgan Cazenove and Bank of America Merrill Lynch were numbers two and three in European food. The European non-food two and three positions were taken by Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley.
Investec and Oriel were two and three respectively in UK small caps.
Analysts Andrew Kasoulis (Credit Suisse), Jaime Vazquez (JP Morgan Cazenove) and Chris Hogbin (Bernstein) were the top three rated European food analysts.
Rod Whitehead (Deutsche Bank), Tony Shiret (Credit Suisse) and Andy Hughes (UBS) took the top three places in European non-food.
Matthew McEachran (Singer), David Jeary (Investec) and Clive Black (Shore Capital) were the three top UK small cap analysts.
