Supergroup, the owner of trendy fashion brand Superdry, experienced a 68.4% surge in group total sales to £57.5m in the three months to October 31.
Group retail sales rocketed 78.6% to £32.1m, driven by a strong and growing UK business.
In the six month period, total group sales jumped 65.1% to £90.3m, while retail sales climbed 71.1% to £54.4m.
SuperGroup said its UK store roll-out “continues apace”, with eight opening during the quarter, including stores in Bournemouth, Peterborough and Solihull.
The retailer opened its first City of London store at One New Change shopping centre last month, bringing its UK store-count to 55.
It said further stores are scheduled to open before Christmas, including Superdry stores at the Trafford Centre in Manchester and Westfield London, as well as a 15,000 sq ft Cult store at St Enoch’s in Glasgow.
Supergroup also sells through franchise stores in countries including France, Belgium, the US, Australia, the UAE and South Korea.
Supergroup chief executive Julian Dunkerton said: “These figures really demonstrate the solid progress we are making as a brand and as a retail company. The Autumn range has been well received by the public and our roll-out is on track both in the UK and internationally.’
SuperGroup, which floated on the Stock Exchange in March, will reveal its results for the six month period ended October 31 on Wednesday December 15.
