Fortnum & Mason is an iconic London department store, founded in 1707 by William Fortnum and Hugh Mason. It also operates two travel stores in St Pancras station and Heathrow Airport, as well as stocking its various products in other stores worldwide. It was originally founded as a grocery store and continues to focus on supplying exotic and speciality produce. The flagship store also features a tea shop and several restaurants. Fortnum & Mason also opened its first international store in Hong Kong in 2019.

Fortnum & Mason recorded a continued recovery in sales, which rose 11.9% to £208.6m in the 52 weeks ended 9 July 2023 (FY2023). It said UK store sales grew 34% on the previous year, driven by “a resilient domestic market and increased international customers, further boosted by the reopening of the third floor at our Picadilly flagship store with a Food & Drinks studio, distillery, cocktail bar and new hamper department”.
