The enhancement allows members to redeem points collected in the store, so that they can get discounts immediately on the games they buy. Previously, customers were sent vouchers three times a year by post.
Game marketing director Anna Macario said: 'Our Reward Card is unique to the video games business and is really going from strength to strength. Some 800,000 members have joined the scheme in the past year. Instant redemption will add yet another benefit to customers.'
The instant redemption facility is already in place for Game customers in France and Sweden.
