Card Factory has appointed a former Fenwick executive as its new chief information officer.
David Cutts will be responsible for developing and transforming several IT and business systems that support the specialist retailer’s long-term strategy.
He has held senior positions at Morrisons and Dixons Carphone and was most recently chief information officer – and member of the executive board – at Fenwick.
Cutts, who will join Card Factory’s executive board, will start his new role on January 6.
Card Factory chief executive Karen Hubbard said: “David’s knowledge and expertise will be invaluable in creating and delivering the IT systems and business infrastructure to underpin our long-term growth strategy and support our continued investment across the business.”
Cutts added: “I am very excited to be joining Card Factory’s executive board and at the opportunity to develop a roadmap and then implement an IT and business transformation programme that helps to deliver the team’s strategy.
“The business has a long history of successful retailing and I am excited about the next stage of its journey, and ensuring that it has an infrastructure appropriate for its growth ambitions. I look forward to working alongside the team in delivering this.”
