Mamas & Papas has teamed up with Laura Ashley to launch a range of children’s prams, homeware and baby apparel.
The range, which launched this week, features 49 new products inspired by the print and patterns made famous by Laura Ashley.
Products will be available from Mamas & Papas and Next stores, as well as online from both retailers’ websites.
The “carefully curated” collection includes baby and toddler apparel, nursery interiors including bedding, and a selection of classic toys including a rocking horse and ragdolls. Clothing is priced at £12-£35, toys at £10-£109, homeware and interiors at £29-£89 and travel items at £39-£949.
The partnership follows a period of expansion for Mamas & Papas, including its entry to Australia as part of new chief executive Nathan Williams’ ambition to “become the global nursery brand of choice”.
Williams said: “As a like-minded brand with a strong British heritage much like our own, partnering with Laura Ashley demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing parents and parents-to-be with unique products that are both stylish and highly practical.
“We look forward to launching the collection in stores globally as well as online, delivered by the guidance and support of our expert colleagues.”
Laura Ashley global president Carolyn D’Angelo said: “As we celebrate 70 years of Laura Ashley, we are continuing to grow our network of carefully selected and like-minded global partnerships to celebrate our iconic prints from the past seven decades.
“With family and home at the heart of both brands, this new partnership with Mamas & Papas is a perfect fit to introduce the Laura Ashley brand to new consumers with a special collection that we hope will be loved for generations to come.”
