Pets at Home will launch a magazine this Easter, which it says will be the UK’s biggest circulating pet-centred magazine available across its 330-store estate.
The pet specialist will launch with a print run of half a million copies. It will be free to VIP Club members while non-members will be charged £2.
The retailer is also considering selling the magazine in other distribution outlets and may launch a range of digital content strands for the magazine.
The magazine, produced by content marketing agency John Brown, aims to create a real sense of community amongst pet lovers and will share the knowledge of the Pets at Home team. It will also feature a range of discounts and offers.
Pets at Home marketing director Scott Jefferson said: “We look forward to making the magazine a great success and a real and valued member benefit in the year ahead.”
