Wilko has pressed pause on home deliveries for orders on its website as it is in the midst of talks for a potential rescue deal.
Logistics firm GXO, which has been handling home deliveries for the embattled retailer, temporarily ceased deliveries to stores for about two days last week as it waited to secure payment, according to The Guardian.
Deliveries to stores have now been made available again as well as collecting online orders from stores. Home deliveries are still paused.
The value retailer announced last week that it was on the brink of administration and it was also revealed that it needs to secure £70m in funding from a new owner.
Wilko and its adviser PwC have until Monday to secure new funding after filing a legal measure to protect it from creditors for 10 days, which started on Thursday August 3.
Potentially interested parties in a rescue deal are said to include Gordon Brothers, Alteri, Opcapita and other value retailers.
However, inside sources said a deal was unlikely to be achieved without the company first calling in administrators.
