Jeweller Goldsmiths launches its new boutique format in Stratford City in September featuring jewellery vending machines and a ‘chill-out zone’.
The 2,000 sq ft store will target a younger, more fashion-conscious demographic aged 18 to 35. It is the first time Goldsmiths has featured vending machines that allow customers to buy jewellery without needing to enter the store. The chill-out zone will have Wi-Fi, drinks facilities and iPads to browse the retailer’s collections. If successful, 30 to 50 more boutiques will be opened over the next three to five years.
