Supermarket group Atlantic has reported poor financial results for the first nine months of 2010. Revenues plummeted by 47% year on year to €220m (£182.6m).Sales from the retail stores amounted to €145.7m (£121m), while the wholesale operations generated revenue of €74.3m (£61.7m).

Atlantic sales down 18.5%
Supermarket chain Atlantic posted an 18.5% sales decrease to €106m (£88m) in the first quarter of 2010, while net losses increased from €2.4m (£1.9m) to €2.9m (£2.4m) year-on-year.
