The Co-op has today announced that its members will now have access to membership prices for online deliveries from its ecommerce website.
The c-store specialist said that from today, it will be offering members the same price benefits online that they can get in-store, with “the added convenience” of products picked fresh in the local store and delivered quickly.
Member prices are available across 300 key lines and everyday essentials.
Alongside discounted prices on selected products, Co-op membership also includes personalised weekly offers, “gamification” and access to pre-sale tickets for artists at Co-op Live via the Co-op app.
The launch is the latest step from the Co-op as it pushes to hit its membership target of 8 million by the end of 2030. The c-store specialist currently has over 5 million members.
Chris Conway, Co-op’s ecommerce director, said: “Co-op membership is a different way of doing business, we are focused on creating value for our member-owners who are at the very heart of our business.
“Growing and innovating our online channels is a fundamental part of our approach, and we are committed to providing greater benefits to those who own our business, our member-owners, with savings across an extensive range and choice of everyday essentials and groceries ordered through our own online shop.”
