Lidl to add 1,500 jobs as it unveils new Leeds distribution centre plans

Discounter Lidl has today unveiled plans to open a new regional distribution centre in Leeds, which will help the retailer create 1,500 new jobs.

The retailer has unveiled plans to open a new 38-acre site in Gildersome, Leeds, which it said would create 400 new jobs as part of its wider ambitions to recruit more than 1,500 new distribution centre workers.
