Morrisons has slashed prices on more than 400 food and household products, and committed to lock those prices in for at least the next eight weeks.
The supermarket giant is cutting prices across wine and champagne, asparagus and potatoes, as well as own-brand breaded frozen cod fillets, fries, mushy peas, red kidney beans, fajita kits and long-grain rice.
Morrisons has also slashed prices on popular snacks such as Morrisons Cheese Curls, Jaffa Cakes and cottage cheese, as well as household staples such as kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets and pet food.
Chief customer and marketing officer Darren Blackhurst said: “We know that the cost of grocery shopping is as important as ever for our customers and we remain committed to lowering prices without any compromise on quality.
“Today’s price cuts include ingredients for popular meals as well as household staples, which will help customers spread their budgets as they start to think about the busy summer months ahead.”
