Nisa has reported a 6.1% rise in sales to £770m for the six months to September 30, helped by a supply deal with McColl’s Retail Group.
The retailer posted EBITDA of £7.3m during the period, up from £5.9m the previous year. It said volume rose 10% to 61m cases for the half year.
Nisa attributed the strong performance to the strength of the Nisa offer and a supply contract to 320 McColl’s Retail Group stores.
Earlier this year the convenience store retailer Nisa secured £100m of refinancing from Barclays.
Nisa finance director Simon Webster said: “We are very pleased to announce such positive half year trading results as this continues to enforce the extremely strong position that Nisa is in as it goes through a significant period of change.”
