Ocado has added 1,700 products to its Big Price Drop today, its fifth round of price cuts since June 2023.
The pureplay grocer said its Big Price Drop campaign now covers more than 3,000 products across its range, which have been reduced by an average of 5%.
The price reductions sit alongside the Ocado Price Promise, which matches a customer’s shop on Tesco.com on more than 10,000 products, including Clubcard prices.
Some of the products included in the most recent round of cuts include Marks & Spencer 150g Italian Mozzarella, down 7% to £1.95; Nestlé Shreddies, down 37% to £2.50; and Ocado 200g Houmous, down 7% to £1.35.
Ocado said that in addition to products from brands and M&S, the Big Price Drop also includes 750 own-brand groceries and household essentials.
Chief executive of Ocado Retail Hannah Gibson said: “We know many of our customers will be looking for value this January. So we’ve started the year by adding even more products to our Big Price Drop.
“The combination of our range and unrivalled service, paired with 1,700 new lower prices, means we’re offering the best experience for our customers.”
