Oddbins has relaunched its website with increased personalisation.
The alcohol specialist has redesigned the site to offer a range of wines with simplified navigation and recommendations to accompany wine.
The website and dedicated phone line stock more than 100 wines.
This will increase over the coming weeks to offer the full range of 500-600 wines, spirits and champagnes currently available in the 36 Oddbins stores across the country.
Oddbins managing director Ayo Akintola said: “Ecommerce is an extremely important part of the new Oddbins going forward.
“The design and content of the new website is very much in keeping with the Oddbins philosophy of making wine as accessible as possible for consumers. We hope that customers find our new website as fun to visit as going into one of our stores.”
European Food Brokers, which trades as Whittall’s Wine Merchants, bought 37 Oddbins stores out of administration in April, after the retailer collapsed in March.
Oddbins is also offering suggestions for music which goes with wine online. These include Santenay 2008 Nuiton-Beaunoy to go with Nick Cave; Stonerock Sauvignon Blanc 2010 with Talking Heads and Green Fish Verdejo 2012 with Woodie Guthrie.
