Sainsbury’s has today launched a summer online campaign via Facebook in what is being dubbed ‘Junior Masterchef meets Ready Steady Cook’.
The month-long campaign, created by Dare, will see contestants’ summer themed recipes judged by three nine year olds on creativity, fun and taste. One new summer themed recipe episode will air every week on Sainsbury’s Facebook page under the tab ‘Summer Ideas’. The clips aim to inspire parents with interesting ideas to feed their kids.
Over the course of the four short films, the Sainsbury’s Tiny Taste Team challenges adults to create dishes including a picnic, ultimate burger and packed lunches.
Sarah Squire, senior brand manager at Sainsbury’s said: “The Tiny Taste Team is a digital extension of our work with Jamie Oliver to provide food inspiration to our customers. Facebook and YouTube are the perfect place to create a conversation around food and allows us to help mums find recipes their kids will love this summer holiday period.”
Viewers will be able to download the recipes and make comments on them.
