Tesco is taking on Amazon’s delivery prowess using robots to fulfil grocery orders within an hour.
The supermarket giant delivered its first basket of goods as part of its wider Tesco Now one-hour delivery trial and is currently mulling a wider roll-out of robot deliveries.
Tesco is definitely treading on Amazon’s turf here, but the etail titan is probably not too concerned.
Tesco is just one outfit investigating the possibility of driverless vehicles and it’ll be an arduous journey before we see them become mainstream.
