Habitat chief executive Jens Nordahl has resigned to take up a post at Lego Holding.

Nordahl, who has held various positions at Habitat owner Ikano Group for 18 years, will leave at the end of August. His previous roles include managing director of Ikano Fund Management, deputy chief executive of Ikano Group and, most recently, chief executive of Habitat.

Nordahl will join Lego Holding as chief executive. He will also be involved in other interests of founder and owner of Lego, Kirk Kristiansen.

Ikano is in the process of searching for a new chief executive for Habitat.
