Furniture retailers Bensons for Beds and Harveys have opened a joint store on Tottenham Court Road, London.
It is the first time either chain has had a presence on the street, which is considered a destination for furniture shoppers.
Both retailers are owned by South African firm Steinhoff International Holdings.
Harveys is located on the ground floor of the 15,000 sq ft Tottenham Court Road store, previously occupied by Steinhoff homewares retailer Cargo, while Bensons for Beds is located in the basement, covering 4,000 sq ft of space.
Bensons commercial director Paul Burgham said: “We have been looking to establish a serious presence in central London for some time and Tottenham Court Road represents an important new opening for us.”
