Holland & Barrett will launch a concession in its London flagship for juice bar business Crussh to boost its health credentials.
The specialist retailer is tying up with the health food business with a concession in its More store in Oxford Street, which it unveiled in January.
Vegetarian food-to-go
Crussh, which also has a concession partnership with Sainsbury’s, will sell a variety of products at the More store, including juice, smoothies, salads and wraps. All products will be vegetarian or vegan.
Holland and Barrett, which posted a 12% fall in its full-year pre-tax profits last month, was recently acquired by retail investment vehicle L1 Retail for £1.8bn.
Speaking about the tie-up with Crussh, head of food Ian Mackie said: “Healthy food-to-go is a growth area for us across the entire business.
“When you combine this demand with a high footfall area like Oxford Street and great products like Crussh’s, we’re very confident we have a winning formula that customers will love.”
Crussh chief executive Shane Kavanagh said: “We are delighted to open a Crussh Fit Food & Juice Bar in Holland & Barrett in the heart of London. With health and wellbeing at the core of both businesses, there is a natural synergy between the two brands.”
