Lush is set to unveil a new store format that will stock products freshly made in-store, Retail Week can reveal.
The ethical beauty retailer is set to reveal its latest store format, called Fresh & Flowers, in Paris in June.
The store will include a florist, marking the second permanent florist the retailer will have in-store after its Liverpool flagship, which opened this month.
Lush’s newest format will be stocked in part with products that will be made on site, such as moisturisers and bath bombs infused with fresh flowers.
The store will also be partially stocked with products from a nearby Fresh Factory, which will make products primarily for this new store.
The products in the Fresh & Flowers store that are supplied by Lush’s Fresh Factory will be showcased for purchase on in-store menus, which will change on a weekly basis.
The upcoming Paris store’s stock will be determined in part with fresh items that sell well at its Liverpool flagship in the coming months.
This new format comes hot on the heels of Lush debuting its Naked store format, which pledges to sell products without any plastic packaging.
The retailer has opened Naked stores in Milan, Berlin and Manchester.
Chief executive and founder Mark Constantine said Lush plans to launch three new store formats in the coming months.
