Superdrug has announced TV presenter Chloe Carmichael will be its new cost-of-living ambassador as part of its “ongoing commitment to supporting shoppers”.
Carmichael will be working with the health and beauty retailer from July to September “to raise awareness of the very best savings, deals and promotions across key categories and everyday essentials including suncare, allergy, skincare and more”.
The TV presenter has a reach of more than 60,000 through her online community Chloe’s Deal Club and will be creating a mini-series of social media content for the retailer as part of the partnership.
This marks the second successful year of the retailer’s ongoing cost-of-living campaign aimed at enabling customers to access the best deals and everyday low pricing after Superdrug announced price freezes on over 150 essential products, expanding to 5,000 beauty products in 2022.
Carmichael said: “I couldn’t be more excited to be working with Superdrug as their new cost-of-living ambassador. I’ve always been a huge fan of the brand and how they put accessibility at the heart of everything they do – so to be able to spread the word about their incredible summer savings to my community at such an important time is something I’m really looking forward to.
“Having worked in the beauty industry before forming Chloe’s Deal Club, it’s an area I’m super passionate about, so this feels like the perfect fit!”
Superdrug chief commercial officer Simon Comins said: “With our ongoing cost-of-living campaign, we commit to bringing customers the best value on everyday products.
“We know that customers are always looking for ways to shop smarter and by partnering with Chloe we hope to help even more shoppers take advantage of our summer savings – from essential healthcare products to items that will provide joy and a moment of self-care, without breaking the bank.”
