Music and lifestyle retailer Hed Kandi has shut its two stores less than a year after opening.
The two shops, at Bluewater and Liverpool One, opened in August and October respectively, selling partywear and accessories.
Former La Senza chief Rose Foster spearheaded the openings in partnership with nightclub group Ministry of Sound. She declined to comment on the store closures.
Foster said last year that Hed Kandi would be “an exciting and unique fashion concept offering glamorous designer-style yet affordable clothing and accessories”.
Hed Kandi started life as a successful collaboration with Arcadia Group’s womenswear retailer Miss Selfridge in 2009.
