HobbyCraft has opened what it claims is the biggest dedicated arts and crafts outlet in the UK.
The shop - the size of five tennis courts - is at Nottingham's Broadmarsh Centre.
HobbyCraft - founded by Warren Haskins, who is also behind Haskins Garden Centres - is about to sign for its 20th site and is actively seeking more.
The store group is to spend£2 million on its first national ad campaign, using TV slots, regional press ads and leafleting to support expansion.
Typical HobbyCraft superstores exceed 900 sq m and retail about 30,000 lines.
