Online bathroom retailer Victoria Plumb has appointed KPMG to line up a sale, according to reports.
Retailers, builders merchants and private equity funds are interested in the bathroom etailer, which could be snapped up for more than £150m, The Sunday Times reported.
Victoria Plumb owner The Walker Group bought the rights to the MFI brand for £250,000 in 2010 after the retailer collapsed into administration. The group also owns the rights to the Land of Leather and Focus DIY brands.
Victoria Plumb, founded in 2001, reported sales of £26.2m in the year to the end of February 2013.
