HomeForm has opened concessions in four Bhs Home stores as it seeks to reach a wider audience.
The retailer is trialling its Sharps bedrooms brand in Nottingham, Chester and Handforth Dean, near Wilmslow, and both the Sharps bedrooms and Möben kitchens brands in Reading. Each concession is 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft.
HomeForm chief financial officer Tim Kowalski said the trial is “going well so far” and that it is considering opening in further Bhs stores.
He said HomeForm is in talks with other retailers to open concessions. Sources close to the situation said House of Fraser is a possibility.
Bhs owner Sir Philip Green has said that he believes incorporating external fashion brands is the future for department stores.
