Travis Perkins-owned Toolstation is ramping up its property portfolio with ambitions to accelerate its number of store openings per year.
The tool specialist, which forms part of the Travis Perkins group, is seeking a range of new sites to add to its existing 280-branch network and support its future growth.
It is looking for a range of sites, including small units measuring 2,800 sq ft and standard units measuring between 3,750 and 6,000 sq ft.
The retailer is also on the lookout for London high street locations measuring 4,000 sq ft with parking in close proximity.
It has a number of existing stores within the M25, including branches in Acton, Dulwich, Bermondsey, Brixton, Islington and Tottenham.
Toolstation managing director James Mackenzie said: “This is a really exciting time for Toolstation as we respond to customer demand and continue to expand our network of branches.
“We have a strong focus on growth whilst maintaining our award-winning customer experience, and look forward to bringing our key benefits of stock availability and everyday low prices to even more trade customers across the UK.”
Like-for-like sales at Toolstation’s sister company Wickes slowed to 2.4% in Travis Perkins’ third quarter as it faced an “increasingly difficult market environment”.
But the group said Toolstation achieved “excellent” like-for-like and overall sales growth.
