FRP hires agent to review business rates paid by BHS
FRP advisory has hired Hilco Profit Recovery to “review the business rates paid by the company (BHS) and to ascertain whether there are refunds available", Sky News reported.
FRP is seeking to recover funds from BHS franchisees in Gibraltar and Russia.
According to sources the annual business rates bill for BHS ran to several million pounds, with only a fraction of sum likely to be recovered.
FRP report said: "The joint liquidators will continue to co-operate with the appointed agent and local authorities in order to receive any refunds due".
SecretSales CFO leaves the company
SecretSales’ chief finance officer Neil Alexander has left the company after the sale of the flash sale site to Excalibur Group, Drapers reported.
Alexander had joined the company in September 2015 from online gambling firm PKR.
The exact date of his departure is not known.
