Hut Group hires head of menswear buying for Coggles
The Hut Group has appointed former territory manager of Sperry Top-Sider Ryan Knight as head of menswear buying for its recently acquired fashion retailer Coggles. Knight is expected to report into Lawrie Kemp, who is the head of buying at The Hut Group. The etailer is still to hire a head womenswear buyer.
Knight previously ran his own independent menswear store Shed in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester and has also worked at Selfridges in Manchester and for denim brand Lee.
Christopher Kane appoints first chief executive
Christopher Kane, which was recently acquired by French luxury clothing company Kering SA, has appointed Alexandre de Brettes as its first chief executive.
de Brettes was previously director of financial communications and market intelligence at Kering after joining in 2002 as deputy director of financial communications.
de Brettes will assume the office from September 1.
