The home shopping group aims to capitalise on the Black Friday phenomenon and prepared well in advance for the spike in trade.
Shop Direct, which owns brands such as Very and Littlewoods, expects to dispatch 200,000 customer order items as consumers seek Black Friday bargains.
Last year Black Friday was the etailer’s biggest day of the year and this year it is expected to grow further.
