House of Fraser will be the title sponsor of the 2015 British Academy Television Awards (BAFTA).
The partnership will involve House of Fraser dressing Academy nominees and presenters for the red carpet. The 166-year-old British department store has been the exclusive BAFTA womenswear and menswear style partner for the last three years.
House of Fraser said the sponsorship will coincide with activity within its 59 stores across the UK, as well as online.
BAFTA chief executive Amanda Berry OBE said: “I am absolutely delighted to welcome House of Fraser as our title sponsor of the British Academy Television Awards. Our relationship over the last three years has been a real success story, and we look forward to celebrating the very best in television together at the Awards.”
The House of Fraser British Academy Television Awards will be held on the May 10 at The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane London and broadcast on BBC One.
Separately, House of Fraser revealed today that its chief executive John King has stepped after eight years. He is succeeded by chief operating officer Nigel Oddy who begins the role with immediate effect.
King will remain as a non-executive director on the board to provide guidance on strategy and ensure a smooth transition, the retailer said.
