Three retailers have taken space at British Land’s St Stephen’s shopping centre in Hull.

Argos will open a 19,170 sq ft (1,780 sq m) store, childrenswear retailer Adams has taken a 4,352 sq ft (404 sq m) unit and Bags etc has signed for a 2,000 sq ft (185 sq m) store.

The retailers join fashion players H&M, Jane Norman, Oasis and New Look at the centre, which was completed in September last year.

The 540,000 sq ft (50,600 sq m) scheme was developed by ING Real Estate and forward purchased by British Land in 2005.
Lunson Mitchenall and Smith Young acted for the landlord.
