Williams to replace Hodkinson
Ideal Shopping Direct has appointed David Williams to its board as non-executive chairman.
Williams is an operating partner at private equity firm Duke Street Capital and is a non-executive director of Mothercare. He is also chair of health and beauty company Accantia.
Ideal Shopping Direct chairman Jim Hodkinson has stepped down from the board after three years with the firm.
Williams said that he was delighted with the role. 'Ideal is well positioned to take advantage of the growth in home shopping using both its TV-based franchise as well as its growing online business,' he commented.
