Red 5 has unveiled its biggest store and the gadget retailer aims to open more larger shops.

The retailer, which operates 20 small stores and concessions, launched the new format in Highcross shopping centre in Leicester, relocating to a 2,500 sq ft store from a 1,200 sq ft shop in the centre.

The new design has more space to allow staff to demonstrate, and shoppers to test, products as well as televisions screening demos.

Red 5 said there is capacity for 50 stores in the UK.
