Catalogue retailer takes first retail park unit
Index has acquired its first out-of-town store on Pillar property's Manchester Fort Shopping Park at Cheetham Hill, Manchester. The 6,400 sq ft (600 sq m) unit has been leased for£224,000 a year.
The first phase of Manchester Fort Shopping Park is due to open this month, with a second phase expected to complete in May next year. It has already attracted a strong tenant line-up, including B&Q, Sports Soccer, Asda George, Boots, Mamas & Papas, TK Maxx, Next and Borders.
