Japanese variety retailer Aeon has reported its financial results for the nine months ended November 30, 2011. Revenue rose to ¥3.75 trillion (£31.6bn) compared with ¥3.73 trillion (£31.4bn) reported for the same period the previous year. Net profit was ¥36.54bn (£307.7m), 25.6% lower than the ¥49.12bn (£413.7m) reported last year. Operating profit was ¥101.82bn (£857.5m) compared with ¥93.36bn (£786.3m).
