Aldi Süd wants to devote more investment to the state of Victoria as it ramps up its store network.

Managing director for Australia Tom Daunt has called on state governments to follow Victoria’s lead by streamlining planning laws, enabling Aldi and other retailers to gain a bigger footprint and take on market heavyweights Woolworths and Coles.
