Consumer electronics retailer Boulanger has received the approval of the competition authorities for its acquisition of Metro Group’s Saturn stores in France. The purchase price of the transaction has not been made public. In order to get the approval of the competition authorities, HTM Group, the owner of Boulanger, has committed to sell five Saturn stores. HTM also said that it had to give up plans for a Saturn store opening in Vedène. Most of Saturn’s 34 stores are located in the Paris region.
