Carrefour is developing a ‘Courses Éco’ corner dedicated to its entry price products in a handful of Paris and northern France stores.
The initiative echoes Auchan’s own discount zone, with 400 SKUs across food, household and health and beauty. The assortment also includes around 20 products in bulk, alongside a broad assortment of unbranded or unknown brands at discount price.
In a change to Auchan’s orange discount area, Carrefour has chosen a red theme, historically the colour of its former economy range ‘1’.
